- "User" refers to any person accessing or using our Platform, including customers, retailers, and one-time sellers.
- "Customer" refers to users who purchase products through our Platform.
- "Retailer" refers to registered sellers who list products regularly on our Platform.
- "One-Time Seller" refers to users who list individual products without formal registration.
- "Products" refers to goods listed for sale on our Platform.
3. User Accounts
3.1 Account Registration
To access certain features of our Platform, you may be required to create an account. You agree to:
- Provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration
- Maintain and promptly update your account information
- Maintain the security of your password and account
- Accept responsibility for all activities that occur under your account
- Notify us immediately of any unauthorized use of your account
3.2 Account Types
Customer Accounts: Free registration for purchasing products.
Retailer Accounts: Registration required for regular sellers with access to dashboard features.
One-Time Sellers: No registration required, but subject to higher fees.
4. Seller Terms
4.1 Listing Products
Sellers agree to:
- Provide accurate and truthful product descriptions
- Upload clear, authentic product images
- Set fair and competitive prices
- Ensure products comply with all applicable laws and regulations
- Not list prohibited, counterfeit, or illegal items
4.2 Fees and Commissions
Regular Retailers:
- Posting Fee: GHC 5.00 per listing
- Commission: 2% of sale price
One-Time Sellers:
- Posting Fee: GHC 10.00 per listing
- Commission: 10% of sale price
All fees are non-refundable once a listing is published.
4.3 Seller Responsibilities
Sellers are responsible for:
- Fulfilling orders in a timely manner
- Packaging products securely
- Responding to customer inquiries promptly
- Handling returns and refunds according to our policy
- Paying all applicable taxes on their sales
5. Buyer Terms
5.1 Purchasing Products
By placing an order, you agree to:
- Provide accurate delivery and payment information
- Pay the full price including delivery fees
- Accept delivery during scheduled delivery times
- Inspect products upon delivery
5.2 Payment
We accept the following payment methods:
- Mobile Money (MTN, Vodafone, AirtelTigo)
- Bank Transfer
- Cash on Delivery (where available)
All prices are in Ghana Cedis (GHC) and include applicable taxes unless otherwise stated.
6. Delivery and Shipping
6.1 Delivery Schedule
- Standard Delivery: Weekends (Friday to Sunday), ending at 9 PM each day
- Urgent Delivery: Available for an additional fee of GHC 15.00
- Delivery Area: Obuasi and immediate environs
6.2 Delivery Fees
- Doorstep Delivery: GHC 15.00
- In-Store Pickup: GHC 10.00
- Urgent Delivery Surcharge: + GHC 15.00
6.3 Delivery Responsibilities
We are not responsible for:
- Delays caused by incorrect delivery information
- Failed deliveries due to customer unavailability
- Damage occurring after successful delivery
7. Returns and Refunds
7.1 No Return Policy
All sales are final. We do not accept returns. Goods once bought cannot be returned or exchanged under any circumstances.
Please ensure you review your order carefully before completing your purchase.
7.2 No Warranty
We do not provide any warranty or guarantee for bought goods. All products are sold "as is".
8. Prohibited Activities
Users are prohibited from:
- Listing or selling counterfeit, stolen, or illegal products
- Engaging in fraudulent transactions
- Manipulating prices or reviews
- Harassing or threatening other users
- Attempting to bypass our fee structure
- Using automated systems to scrape or copy our content
- Violating any applicable laws or regulations
9. Intellectual Property
All content on our Platform, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Shop With The Gents or its content suppliers and is protected by intellectual property laws.
Users retain ownership of content they upload but grant us a license to use, display, and distribute such content on our Platform.
10. Privacy and Data Protection
We are committed to protecting your privacy. Our collection and use of personal information is governed by our Privacy Policy. By using our Platform, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.

11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Shop With The Gents shall not be liable for:
- Indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages

- Damages arising from product quality issues (seller responsibility)
- Damages resulting from unauthorized access to your account
- Service interruptions or technical failures
Our total liability shall not exceed the amount paid by you for the specific transaction in question.
12. Dispute Resolution
12.1 Customer-Seller Disputes
We encourage users to resolve disputes amicably. If a dispute arises, contact our customer support team for mediation assistance.
12.2 Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ghana. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Obuasi, Ashanti Region.
13. Modifications to Terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the Platform. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.
We will notify users of significant changes via email or prominent notice on our Platform.
14. Account Termination
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account if you:
- Violate these Terms
- Engage in fraudulent activities
- Provide false information
- Fail to pay applicable fees
